1. Tendering

The Tendering Process

Award Computing will from time to time issue tenders to suppliers/brokers/wholesalers and if you are registered with us, you will get a notification of new tenders via email. The email will contain a link to the new tender, or you can browse this site to view the tenders that are currently open. When bidding for a tender, please state the condition of the item(s) that you can sell to us, along with your price. Your bid is a contract - please take into account stock availability and pricing before bidding. When the bidding time for a tender is over, we will select the most appropriate bid to fulfill the tender and contact you with regards to ordering and payment. Your bid is your contactual agreement to us to sell us the stock at the stipulated condition and price. If in doubt of any tender, please feel free to contact us.

2. Foreign Exchange

While the exchange rates for foreign currencies are updated in real-time, we cannot ensure their accuracy and accept no liability for the usage of the exchange rates listed on this website. They should be used as a guide. For more detailed rates, please consult your financial instituition or visit XE.com .

Award Computing can only accept bids on tenders and auctions in Australian dollars. While we would like to provide the most flexible service to our users, we cannot hedge currency rates for you due to the volatile nature of the Australian dollar and other major currencies. As some of the tenders and auctions on this site may be listed for extended periods of time, we cannot protect ourselves against the fluctuations of currencies during bidding time. Therefore, all bids are only accepted in Australian dollars, and payment at the completion of bidding will only be made in Australian dollars. If you are bidding on a high-value item or tender, you can protect yourself by 1) buying Australian dollars when bidding or 2) engaging a currency hedging service. Please consult your financial instituition for more information.
